Head Coach /President / Club Director Lisa Marshall

Originally from Ohio, I moved here over 20 years ago to pursue a beach volleyball career. I have 27+ years of coaching experience from high school, collegiate, club and international. I have 30+ years of playing experience, including collegiate, international and professional.  Currently, I am the head JV/ Assistant Varsity Coach at Notre Dame Academy. I am a retired Professional beach volleyball player but still keep up my skills by playing in some CBVA tournaments. I also dabble in some personal training as well. I played for the University of Akron(1992-1995). In 1995, I led the nation in solo blocks per game (1.91) and still hold it to this day. I played professional indoor volleyball in Innsbruck, Austria and professional beach volleyball in US, Austria, Korea, Africa, and Mexico. I was inducted into the Ashland County Sports Hall of Fame and Loudonville High School Hall of Fame.

I had always wanted my own club, but I knew what it would take to get one started, so I had to wait till God opened doors and put the right people into place.  Aviator Volleyball Club was an extension of a summer program that I started called Baysic Volleyball. I then got an opportunity to be a part of another club and run one of it's extended teams. After a few years doing that, we decided that we can do this now on our own.  So, in 2012 Aviators came into existence.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles to coach at LMU, Hall served as the head coach at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, AZ from 2003-05, and spent the 2006-07 season on the Arizona State University women’s volleyball coaching staff before returning to Pinnacle as the head coach for the 2008 season.

Hall turned the Pinnacle program around in her first stint at the school, building on a 2-15 record upon taking over the program in 2003 en route to a 14-3 mark and a 4A State runner-up finish in 2005. For her efforts, she was named the Arizona Republic Big School Coach of the Year, and the Northeast Valley Coach of the Year, in 2005.

In her one season at Arizona State, Hall was responsible for organizing and coordinating travel plans, assisting in recruiting, assisting in practice planning and training of athletes, and serving as the Assistant Sun Devil Camp coordinator. Hall helped the Sun Devils advance from an RPI ranking of 152 in 2005 to a ranking of 25 in 2006. That increase in RPI resulted in ASU reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the previous four seasons, as the Sun Devils advanced to the second round of the tournament.

On the club side, Hall has served as a Club Arrowhead coach and recruiting coordinator in Glendale, AZ.  Under those titles, she developed and implemented a strategic recruiting plan to better help the club athletes earn collegiate volleyball scholarships. Organizing all practice sessions, game plans and management of the team, she guided her Girls 16U squad to an Arizona Open Region Championship. She also worked for legendary USC head coach, Mick Hailey, with Club Troy guiding her 18’s team to an Arizona Volleyball Festival Final in 2012.  In 2014, Hall’s 17U team at Club Troy won the bronze medal at Junior Nationals.  She has also served as a Gold Medal Squared Volleyball Weekend Series Camp Coordinator and coach.

Hall’s Notre Dame Academy team has won two league titles over the past 4 years qualifying for CIF-SS playoff appearances in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.  NDA’s squad has also appeared in a Final- Four, two Elite Eights and two Sweet Sixteens over the past 8 seasons.

A four-year letter winner at West Texas A&M, Hall was a member of three Lone Star Conference Championship teams, two regional championship teams and a Final Four team in 1999. A middle blocker, Hall was the MVP of the 1996 Mile High Classic and was a three-time All-Lone Star Conference selection. She graduated from West Texas A&M in 2001.
